He didn’t know a thing about being a grandfather, so he asked questions and embarked on a journey to build a community for grandfathers. I began our conversation by asking him about his podcast.

Episode 72 features Lily, a 13-year-old student who has dyslexia, and her mother, Alexandra. Alexandra posted a poem in a Facebook group for parents whose children have dyslexia Lily had written two years earlier. That poem and a second poem Lily wrote has been published in the May 2022 issue of Stone Soup, a literary magazine for children.

In this episode, Lily and her mother discuss their journey with dyslexia and Lily reads her poem she titled Dyslexia.

Episode 70 of the Adventures with Grammy Podcast is a rebroadcast of Episode 1, which features my sister discussing the skip-gen cross-country trip she and her husband and two grandchildren took in their RV. The first stop on their adventures was the life-size replica of Noah’s Ark in Northern Kentucky not too far from Cincinnati, home of The Ark’s sister museum, the Creation Museum.

Exciting for 2022 is children 10 and under enjoy free admission to the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum, and as long as one adult is in the group, there’s no limit to how many children you can bring for free.

My mother just returned from a bus trip to both museums her Senior Citizens Group sponsored. Mom thoroughly enjoyed her visit. I, too, am looking forward to visiting the Ark.
